The Monarch Butterfly is a majestic butterfly which has been chosen as a symbol for people affected by mental illness. In the early stage of its development, the cocoon-like condition of the butterfly resembles the depressed and withdrawn feelings commonly shared by people whose lives are affected by mental illness.
Quinton is a graduate of the Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Maryland- Baltimore, School of Nursing. He has over 10 years of mental health experience ranging from crisis stabilization, dual diagnosis, neurocognitive disorders, psychotic disorders, nursing research, and education.
He has worked in a variety of settings including, general inpatient hospitals, inpatient psychiatry, skilled nursing / rehabilitation centers and as an adjunct clinical nursing instructor. He has led several inpatient groups including CBT and support groups.
Quinton enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He loves motorcycles and is a proud Harley-Davidson owner. He is an avid Ravens, Orioles and Lakers fan. He often volunteers in the community, for his church and has coached recreational baseball, basketball and softball teams.
Sierra has a propensity for effective communication, professionalism, multitasking and attention to details. She has years of experience working in a mental health setting. She enjoys Spending time with her family, and doing arts /craft. She has a special eye for décor and styling.
